Covid 19 has found us in a situation where we need to promote cleanliness through washing of our hands, wearing of face masks, sanitizers and social distance which are still limited.

The organization has managed to provide clean water for hand wash although the resources are still limited.
WITH LOVE TO MAKE A CHANGE, WE CAN DO ANYTHING TO PROVIDE A LIFE TO THESE STRIVING CHILDREN.

About 30 million Ugandans still do not have latrines, and practice open defecation i.e. the use of ponds, rivers, bushes and farms as a defecating site is widely observed. Household access to off-site sanitation system is only 1.65% (only urban cities have off-site waste water system). Diseases caused by poor sanitation are highly increasing in our community

Children of the poor should not be educated in such manner as to set them above the occupations of humble life, or so as to make them uncomfortable among their equals.

MAIN KEY POINTS:
PARENTAL EMPOWERMENT: Parents are skilled as well educated on how to start businesses (start small grow big), as well starting capital, In turn this solve the General country problem of Unemployment, and improves family status of living.

EDUCATION: We do provide school necessities to all children catered for under the project and create awareness towards the heartfelt people who usually donate towards the education services of these kids.
​
HOMING EVERY CHILD: We do provide necessary homing materials like orphans home to keep them safe and provide them with attributes to keep them moving in the general life as other children in the whole world.
HEALTHCARE: Health services are provided to all the kids were necessary and health tips to these kids are the daily routine for the teachers and volunteers towards these children every day. We do also provide monthly Medical checkups to all the children in the project.
INCREDIBLE SKILLING: We do provide sustainable skills to children, Skills ease the start up for future ,so this is done to as way of preparing for future as well visioning for the children to the work nature when still younger hence ease in Future.

EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Education doesn't have a one-size-fits-all solution.
Your support is invested in helping kids complete primary school and secondary school using a wide range of tools to make it happen: providing school fees, uniforms, supplies, tutoring and scholarships.

Why focus on education?
Going to school — and not dropping out — is absolutely essential to building a future free from poverty.
Kids enrolled in our sponsorship program have access to resources, based on location, age and life circumstances.
Here are some of the ways your support is used for education:

Providing material support for supplies, uniforms, shoes or books

Awarding scholarships to attend vocational school, college or other higher education institutions

Working directly with parents to ensure their kids are enrolled in school children

Working i hand with all community officials assuring all helpless and vulnerable children are enrolled i school.

Tutoring kids — either one-on-one or in groups

Partnering with existing educational facilities in the community

Educating parents on how to improve interactions with their kids at home

Creating resources in our community centers like computer labs and libraries available to local schools.

A good quality education helps children reach their full potential; however, for millions of children and youth, it is beyond reach and many are not learning basic skills like reading and math if they do attend school.
The Mentor Orphans Africa program expands to several different schools allover Uganda providing sustaining services to all children. It mostly enrolls its programs with the following schools:

We have been running these schools with local and international donations and contributions and with the hands on tools, projects setup to skill these kids, which raise some little money for their benefits. We have limited resources to take care of the increasing orphan / semi orphan / street children that are increasing due to various reasons.
We need additional support from the donors and philanthropists to meet the needs of increasing orphan / semi orphan / street children in our centers.

MOA undertakes Child Sponsorship and basic support as the Core Activities of the organization; supporting children right from pre-school through primary to secondary level. The organization believes education provides knowledge and skills for development and growth of an individual and that a well-educated population lives in social harmony.

SPONSOR A CHILD PROGRAM

This also one of the core sector for the provision of these services to different children and this help in promoting up the services to different areas of the country. Child Sponsorship should seek to encourage stronger understanding of cultural differences, based on the assumption that the relationship between supporter, child and community is between individuals from different experiences, cultures and faiths. Child Sponsorship have the potential to raise awareness in supporters and, with time, move them from a concept of “charity” towards recognition of the dignity and strength of poor people and the need for basic rights to enable poverty to be overcome. The link should also actively involve them in our campaigns to influence governments and institutions at local, national and international levels.

In our changing and developing society, a number of Orphan, Semi Orphan and Street Children are found. The problem of orphan / street children is acute due to urbanization and industrialization. Due to the deaths of HIV/AIDS affected parents, Re-marriage of deserted / widowed / divorce women, absence of love and security in the families, Family disputes, Unwanted pregnancy of Trafficking / Sexually exploited girls; these orphan and street children are left without care and support. These children are involved in rag picking; pick pocketing and participating in anti-social, crime activities. Therefore, we create awareness for the well development and provision of education to most of the Orphans and other helpless children per time we are able to provide, support and save the Children in Uganda.
